About / Corbin LaCount

Hi, I’m Corbin LaCount.
I make the pieces work.

I’m a systems engineer and independent designer and developer in northwest Washington, with a background in cloud identity, infrastructure, and AI tooling.

I bring that experience to websites and business systems, thinking through how things look, how they connect, and how people use them. From a public website to an internal tool, I care about the little interactions you notice and the behind-the-scenes details you shouldn’t have to think about. When we work together, you work directly with the person building it.

Let’s see what we can build ↗

A clear way to work together

Know what’s next.
At every step.

You work directly with Corbin. We agree on the problem, the scope, and what a successful result looks like.

01

Talk through the need.

Show me the website, the workflow, or the thing that keeps getting in your way.

02

Agree on the plan.

A defined scope, proposal, and responsibilities before implementation begins.

03

Build, review, refine.

See the work as it takes shape. Check the design and the real business flow.

04

Launch with a handoff.

Agree on documentation, ownership, and any support arrangements as part of the project.

Do I need a whole new website?

Often the right project is smaller: a feature, a connection to another tool, a better inquiry flow, or a performance fix. I’ll review the existing platform before recommending the scope.

Can you work on tools that aren’t part of a website?

Yes. CRM connections, internal dashboards, document workflows, and standalone applications can be projects in their own right. We start with the tools you use and the outcome you need.

Who provides content, and what happens after launch?

We define content responsibilities during scoping, including existing copy, photography, and any new material needed. Handoff, documentation, and ongoing support are also agreed in the proposal so expectations are clear.
